The Mystery of the Missing Black Cardigan.

The cardigan in question, of the color onyx, had been missing for seventy-two hours. Of course, the first twenty-four hours in any case, are the most critical. However, this was a mystery even Lucifer could not have solved. As a young, rather anxious Patti, raced into the tie dye, hunter green room, slamming the door behind her as she fled, for she could hear him, walking slowly behind her.
It was just like the scene in Halloween when Michael is walking to his next victim and they are running and then suddenly trip, and never get back up. And then they are slaughtered.
Dammit, she’s definitely seen way too many of those movies to know that no matter how slowly the murderer was walking, he always caught up to the helpless victim who ended up screaming, “No! Please, don’t do this, Michael, why are you doing this?!”
Alas, this was no movie, this was too real to be fiction. She threw down the box of clothes, knowing this cardigan had to be in there somewhere. Rummaging through each piece of clothing, she grew more and more worried as the music of a killer was swelling, louder and louder. She knew she didn’t have a lot of time left.
Frantically, she keeps up her search and just when hope seems to kindle the flames of her heart, she screams!
Finally! She pulled out the infamous cardigan, brings it up to her nose, inhales… and suddenly, it collapses right back into the box of clothes. Her time has run out.
Eyes are watching her, with lust for blood. She screams once more as the killer lunges for her and yells, “WHY IS MY CARDIGAN IN THE DIRTY CLOTHES?!”
The killer stops, seemingly taken aback by his victim’s outburst. His hand lowers, letting the knife fall from his grasp, and he turns towards the box, then back to Patti. The killer shrugged and simply said, “I have laundry to do tonight, I can wash it.”

Fin.
